On Tuesday, June 3, nearly 200 guests gathered in Room 301 at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center to celebrate the life and legacy of our beloved founder, Gil Neary.
City Councilmember Erik Bottcher presented a special citation recognizing Gil’s enduring contributions to the Chelsea community. Remarks were also shared by Gil’s longtime partner, Scott Riedel; his brother, Matt Neary; and Matthew Bank, president of Bank Neary Real Estate. The program concluded with a heartfelt performance of “For Good†from Wicked, sung by Jack Aaronson.
